In deze cursus doet u basiskennis op van privacy- en gegevensbeschermingswetten en van hun toepassing in de praktijk. U maakt kennis met gemeenschappelijke principes en benaderingen van privacy en met de belangrijkste privacymodellen die wereldwijd worden toegepast. Ook krijgt u een introductie in informatiebeveiligingsconcepten en in het beheer en het toezicht op informatiebeveiliging. Denk hierbij onder meer aan raamwerken, controle-instrumenten en identiteits- en toegangsbeheer. Ook doet u kennis op over online-privacy, dat sterk gerelateerd is aan het gebruik van persoonsgegevens op websites en voor andere internettechnologieën.
U komt meer te weten over de noodzaak en het belang van privacy in een IT-omgeving, met belangrijke invloeden als regelgevingsactiviteiten, veiligheidsdreigingen, technologische ontwikkelingen en de snelle groei van sociale netwerken. In this course, you will gain foundational knowledge on concepts of privacy and data protection laws and practice. You will learn common principles and approaches to privacy as well as understand the major privacy models employed around the globe. An introduction to information security concepts and information security management and governance will be covered including frameworks, controls, and identity and access management. You will also learn about online privacy as it relates to using personal information on websites and other Internet-related technologies.
You will learn the need and importance for privacy in the IT environment with impacts such as regulatory activities, security threats, advances in technology and the proliferation of social networks. This course will provide an introduction to privacy laws, regulations, and standards impacting privacy in IT and the risks inherent in the IT environment. You will also learn about the importance of personally identifiable information and methods for ensuring its protection.

Maar laten we beginnen bij het begin: eerst afremmen en bewust worden. Misschien heeft u soms wel het gevoel dat u weet dát er veel verandert, maar kunt u die veranderingen lastig duiden. In deze workshop wordt ingezoomd op de belangrijkste ontwikkelingen die van invloed zijn op werk, inclusief trends op de arbeidsmarkt. Het doel is bewustwording van de veranderingen. De workshop daagt de deelnemers uit om ‘grote veranderingen’ te vertalen naar persoonlijke acties in het hier en nu.
