Opleiding: Training Ownership within your Team (English) - Virtual Classroom

When a team functions well, it delivers more than the sum of its parts. But how can you, as a team leader, ensure that your team performs at its best? The key is within the team itself: the more ownership team members take for their own functioning, the better the team performs. And how can you best support that as a manager? By exploring this together with your team, you’ll discover what’s needed at any given moment, providing direction, facilitating, or encouraging shared responsibility.

This one-day, hands-on training centers around the Team Effectiveness Model, which examines goals, tasks and roles, processes and procedures, and interpersonal relationships within the team. You’ll leave with a clear understanding of how to further develop ownership in your team.

This training helps you learn how to help your team excel. It starts with clarifying what you expect from them, both as a team and as individuals. You’ll receive a set of questions to prepare for the session. During the training, you’ll practice techniques that help your team gain self-awareness and improve collaboration. Understanding and doing go hand in hand throughout the day.

You’ll learn how to guide your team toward greater clarity around roles, responsibilities, and ways of working. The focus is on the team: you’ll begin discussing concrete behaviors and underlying processes. By the end of the day, you’ll know exactly what first step to take with your team.
