Jan Inberg

Jan Inberg is born in 1962 in the Netherlands. He is Interim Manager, Trainer, Coach en Financial Advisor with more than twinty years of expierence at local government (local council, provincial council and incidential at other governmental organizations ) in business, finance and controlling. Jan is selfemployed and he is founder of a network of public controllers (OverheidsControllers in Dutch), who are ready to help solve governance and control problems of local government to enhance performance of the organizations. Jan studied (business) economics and information management in Groningen and Nijmegen. He started his career at the local council of ’s-Hertogenbosch as assistant controller. Later in his carreer, in 1994, he worked as manager business / concerncontroller at region Riverenland. In 1998 Jan became selfemployed as an interim manager, consultant, trainer and coach. He is a member of the association of interim managers in the Netherlands. From 2000 until today Jan developed en trained management en employees of local government together with BestuursAcademieNederland. For instance: Finance for non Financials, Public Controlling and Strategic Management. Jan did interim management assignments for local councils, provincial councils, care, and the housing industry. He worked e.g. as concerncontroller for the council of Assen, Emmen en Wageningen. Director Business at the council of Hoogeveen en Purmerend, as director Control at Evean Groep (care) and as change manager at several local councils and a housing company.
