Following the successful delivery of several training programs on “hard” corporate finance skills in the Netherlands, London, New York and Asia I offer since 2015 an open programme primarily focussed on analyst and associates of investment banks, corporate finance boutiques, corporate finance advisors, private equity firms, M&A departments of corporates and equity analyst. Based on my experience as an active corporate finance advisor/valuator and being affiliated with several universities, I will provide the courses with a nice blend between practice and theory. IELTS Examentraining

Cursusinformatie Deze cursus is bedoeld voor cursisten die zich willen voorbereiden op de IELTS-toets en de hoogst mogelijke score willen behalen. Naast de vier aparte vaardigheden voor het examen, wordt de lay-out en manier van examineren uitvoerig behandeld. Algemene examenvaardigheden Tijdens deze cursus leert u algemene examenvaardigheden zoals tijdmanagement, het samenvatten van teksten en het ontrafelen van vragen (wat wordt er precies gevraagd?). U krijgt examentips over parafraseren, het voorspellen van antwoorden en gegeven aanwijzingen. Verbeter uw taalvaardigheid U verbetert uw leesvaardigheid door te leren hoe u een tekst snel doorneemt en hoe u de mening en houding van een schrijver herkent. U leert ook hoe u een essay moet structureren en hoe u uw argumenten moet formuleren zodat u volledig bent voorbereid op het examen schrijfvaardigheid. Spreekvaardigheid en luistervaardigheid worden behandeld met behulp van interactieve rollenspellen en door het oefenen met luistertoetsen. Over IELTS De IELTS-toets test uw bekwaamheid in vier vaardigheden (luisteren, lezen, schrijven en spreken). Er zijn twee versies van de IELTS-toets: de academische module en de algemene module. De luister- en spreektoetsen zijn in beide modules hetzelfde, maar de lees- en schrijftoetsen verschillen. De Academische IELTS-module is zeer veeleisend en een actieve beheersing van wetenschappelijk Engels op een gevorderd niveau is dan ook noodzakelijk. Welke score heb ik nodig? Verschillende onderwijsinstituten hanteren verschillende toelatingseisen wat betreft de Engelse taalvaardigheden van studenten. U kunt bij de universiteit van uw keuze navragen welke IELTS-score er van u wordt verwacht. Om zoveel mogelijk te profiteren van deze IELTS-voorbereidingscursus, is het handig om vooraf te weten welke score u nodig heeft. Als IELTS een vereiste is voor toelating tot de universiteit, is het aan te raden om vroeg te beginnen met de voorbereiding.
