Fundamentals of Group Facilitation Training
The aim of the training is for the participants to acquire basic knowledge and skills for designing and conducting organisational meetings and workshops, that is, group facilitation
The training is practical in nature; it features basic knowledge about the role of the facilitator, its difference from other roles, together with specific methods and techniques of facilitation. A large part of the training time will be devoted to designing and conducting workshops based on the topics selected by the training participants. Of heb je gewoon een sterke drijfveer om mensen te helpen en te begeleiden bij hun leeservaring? Hoe dan ook, in de Leesconsulent opleiding leer je hoe je een belangrijke schakel kunt worden tussen de lezer en het boek.
Dat kan op allerlei manieren, zoals: hoe krijg je jongeren aan het lezen? Hoe kun je de collectie van een bibliotheek zo samenstellen dat die perfect aansluit bij de interesses en behoeften van de doelgroep? En hoe kun je leerkrachten het beste bijstaan met hun vragen op het gebied van lezen? Omdat je zelf gepassioneerd bent over lezen en van verhalen houdt, wil je ook anderen graag laten ontdekken hoe leuk lezen kan zijn en hoe het kan bijdragen aan persoonlijke ontwikkeling, zelfreflectie, ontspanning en empathisch vermogen. Van het kiezen van het juiste boek voor de juiste lezer tot het uitvoeren van effectieve leesprogramma’s: deze opleiding Leesconsulent voorziet je van alle kennis en vaardigheden die je nodig hebt om anderen te helpen hun leeservaring te verrijken.
Na afloop van de opleiding Leesconsulent weet jij als geen ander hoe jij zowel kinderen als volwassenen kunt helpen bij het vinden van de juiste boeken die aansluiten bij hun leesniveau, interesses en voorkeuren. Want bedenk: door het juiste boek tegen te komen, kan iemand voor de rest van zijn leven een lezer worden. Werk je bijvoorbeeld voor een schoolbibliotheek? Dan zul je straks ook in staat zijn om ouders tips te geven om het leesgedrag van hun kinderen te bevorderen. Maar je bent je er ook terdege van bewust dat dat niet voor iedereen even gemakkelijk is. Gelukkig zijn er diverse leestechnieken en -strategieën om kinderen te helpen bij hun leesontwikkeling. Zo kan het voorlezen van boeken echt grenzen verleggen. Het is een krachtig middel om de leesvaardigheid te vergroten en het leesplezier te stimuleren. Leer over leesniveaus
Om de leesvaardigheid van anderen te verbeteren, moet je eerst goed weten wat hun leesniveau is. Je leert over de verschillende leesniveaus en hoe deze niveaus kunnen variëren per leeftijd en achtergrond van de lezer.
Verdiep je in literatuur
Als leesconsulent moet je op de hoogte zijn van de geschiedenis van volwassenen- en kinderliteratuur. Hierdoor kun je lezers beter adviseren en hen helpen bij het vinden van boeken die aansluiten bij hun leesniveau en interesses.
Verken de wereld van leespromotie
Maak kennis met de voornaamste leespromotie-activiteiten in Nederland. Word bekend met de grootste boekevenementen en voor welke doelgroepen deze zijn bedoeld. Denk bijvoorbeeld aan de Boekenweek, de Kinderboekenweek en de Nationale Voorleesdagen.
Geef vorm aan leesbeleid op school
Leer hoe je als leesconsulent kunt bijdragen aan een gedegen leesbeleid op scholen en hiermee de leesvaardigheid en het leesplezier van leerlingen kunt bevorderen. Ook ervaar je waarom een goed leesbeleid van wezenlijk belang is voor de schoolinspectie.

Fundamentals of Project Management Training
The objective of this training is twofold. First, to give the participants a set of fundamental tools and techniques of project management, useful in projects of different kinds and scales. The training focuses on the technical layer of project management, which is often weak or missing from the formal trainings, particularly those leading to certifications. Second, the training will introduce the participants to a variety of project management approaches, with intention to help them chose a further path, towards professional certifications such as PMI PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile. Over the last several decades there has been a proliferation of methods, approaches and frameworks, and it is far from easy to chose the project working methods, away from hype and publicity, often generated by certification industry.
