Opleiding: Electrical troubleshooting engineer - Dag
Electrical troubleshooting engineer, learn to solve complex faults in electrical installations
During the course Electrical troubleshooting engineer you will learn everything about solving complex faults in electrical installations. You will delve into the field of electrical engineering. For example, you will learn more about PLC controls, safety circuits, soft starters and electric motors. After completing this course, you will understand the operation of an electrical system and you will be able to explain, solve and prevent complex faults.
In order to successfully follow and complete this training, you need to have the following basic skills:
- Knowledge of industrial electrical engineering
- MBO-4 work and thinking level (prevent)
The course Electrical troubleshooting engineer takes 8 course days with 3 half days of practical training.
During the Electrical troubleshooting engineer course you will learn about:
Fault analysis:
- Performing fault analyses in electrical installations with PLCs, frequency controllers, soft starters and electric motors
- Proposing improvement proposals
- Reading schematics of complex installations
- Measuring principles and understanding measured values
In-depth knowledge:
- Transducers, controls and motors
- Controls such as star/delta, frequency and soft starters
- Application of safety controls
- Construction of installations and machines with protections such as installation circuit breakers, fuses, power switches, cabling, connections, installation and switching material
Study load:
The preparation for each lesson is on average 2 hours. In the online learning environment you can see whether questions, cases and assignments are ready for this course.
Access to the online teaching material:
- There is unlimited access to the teaching material via MyROVC
-Interaction with teacher (up to 2 months after completion)
Result
You have acquired all the knowledge and practical experience you need to determine and analyze the causes of malfunctions in a structured manner. With knowledge of safety components, (safety) relays, motors, and PLCs, you are able to carry out modifications to permanently resolve technical malfunctions.
