Omschrijving Masterclass Continuous Design In de Masterclass Continuous Design leert u op een simpele en gestructureerde wijze een Agile design te maken voor een informatiesysteem. Dit ontwerp is holistisch om het niet alleen de applicatie omvat maar ook de value streams van de business en DevOps. Tevens wordt aandacht gegeven aan de benodigde kennis en kunde aan de hand van profielen. Daarmee omvat het design de aspectgebieden People, Process en Technology (PPT).Het design is continuous omdat het incrementeel en iteratief wordt vormgegeven en de ontwikkeling van het informatiesysteem volgt door voor ieder relevant item van de product backlog invulling te geven aan de benodigde requirements.Met het Continuous Design wordt een snelle terugkoppeling gegeven aan de stakeholders ten aanzien van het gedrag, de functionaliteit en de kwaliteit van de serviceverlening die de outcome van hun business value streams ondersteunt en verbetert.Hiermee realiseert u op een professionele wijze een informatiesysteem dat goed onderhoudbaar en uitbreidbaar is. Het Continuous Design wordt top-down vormgegeven waarbij er in een aantal stappen van grof naar fijn wordt gewerkt zoals in de onderstaande figuur is aangegeven.De eerste stap is het Context Diagram. Hiermee wordt de scope van het informatiesysteem beschreven. Aan de hand hiervan worden in de tweede stap flows (value streams) onderkend die gemodelleerd worden in de vorm van een Value Stream Canvas. Daarmee zijn in hoofdlijnen de stappen beschreven die doorlopen worden bij het gebruik van het informatiesysteem. Deze twee stappen worden initieel gedaan voordat de sprints starten om aan de realisatie te beginnen. De rol die hierbij een cruciale rol speelt is de business architect.De derde stap is het uitwerken van een value stream in een Use Case diagram. Hierdoor worden de actoren van de flows gerelateerd aan de stappen (use cases). Tevens wordt er hierbij een vertaalslag gemaakt naar de te realiseren software. De vierde stap is een enterprise architectuurplaat waarin de flows gerelateerd worden aan de software bouwstenen en de teams die hierbij een rol spelen. Tevens wordt hierbij de pipeline van het ontwikkelproces aan gerelateerd. Hiermee is er een goed beeld van de diverse afhankelijkheden bij de realisatie.De vijfde en zesde stap zorgen voor de detaillering. Deze stappen kunnen incrementeel en interatief worden doorlopen.
