General Information
Do you rely on Google Translate when writing Emails? Does picking up the phone to talk in English stress you out? This course is designed to get you speaking and writing with confidence, saving you time and energy.
Course Goals
This course is for professionals who have at least an intermediate langue level. The emphasis is on spoken and written English though there will also be reading and listening exercises during the lesson. The course can be customized to include more email writing or telephoning.
We will also go over some useful vocabulary and phrases that you can use when writing emails or speaking on the phone. Additionally, you will learn how to do the following in English:
Write emails to clients about orders, meetings,
Write internal emails to your colleagues
Make sales calls
Arrange meetings and confirm information on the phone
Method
We will use a variety of texts and sources in this course. There will be a lesson book, as well as homework that we will go over during the lesson. The suggested books for this course are English for Telephoning (Oxford) and Email English (Macmillan) as well as chapters from Business Vocabulary in Use (Cambridge). If you have more specific needs, we can discuss them during the intake meeting.
Time investment
This is a short course of 5 lessons of 120 minutes each. Completing the homework each week will take around 30 to 45 minutes.
Practical information
Are you unsure of your language level? Then we can arrange a short intake meeting with the teacher. It lasts about 15 minutes. This service is included in the total price of the course.
You are responsible for obtaining the book yourself. It costs about 45€ for the most current edition.
Online courses are carried out on Google Meet. You don’t need to have a Google account to take this course.

Jesica Versichele is a CELTA-certified native English speaker from the United States. She worked in marketing and copywriting for the arts and culture industry before becoming an English teacher. She uses her knowledge of sales and marketing to make the course highly relevant to the learner.

Studiebelasting
De DevOps Coach training bestaat uit 4 trainingsdagen van 9.00 tot 17.00 uur. Tussen de trainingsdagen zit steeds een periode van minimaal 1 week voor studie en voorbereiding. Op de laatste middag wordt het examen afgenomen.
Voor de DevOps Coach training moet u rekenen op een studiebelasting van zo’n 80 uur (afhankelijk van bestaande kennis). Deze tijd is nodig voor het bestuderen van de stof, het maken van de huiswerkopdrachten en de voorbereiding op het examen.
Voor deze training is dient u in het bezit te zijn van het DevOps Fundamentals of een vergelijkbaar certificaat. Ervaring in het werken in een Lean, Agile of DevOps omgeving wordt op prijs gesteld.

Certificering
De DevOps Coach training bereidt u voor op het officiële DevOps Coach examen van DASA. Het examen is met gesloten boek en bestaat uit 10 meerkeuzevragen (ieder maximaal 5 punten). Minimaal heeft u 35 punten (70%) nodig om te slagen. Het examen duurt 90 minuten en kan alleen online afgenomen worden.
Suerte Academy biedt deelnemers examengarantie. Mocht u niet slagen voor het examen, dan kunt u geheel kosteloos aan de herkansing deelnemen.
Na een succesvol afgelegd examen ontvangt u van DASA het DevOps Coach certificaat. Dit is de hoogste certificering die u kunt halen.

Intro Unit Testing
The course C++ Unit Testing starts with an introduction to Unit Testing that focusses on testing individual units in the source code. A unit is the smallest part of the code that can be tested in isolation, such as a function or a method of a class.
Test Cases
Subsequently after an overview of other forms of testing, extensive attention is paid to the Google Test Framework. The structure and setup of Test Cases and Fixtures in Google Test is discussed.
Assertions
The various types of assertions are also treated with explicit success or failure handling. Special attention is paid to exception assertions, floating point comparisons and the use of regular expressions.
Test Parameters
Then the course C++ Unit Testing will cover creating parameterized tests, parameter passing and type-parameterized tests. Test events and event listeners are also discussed.
Test Driven Development
Also part of the program of the course C++ Unit Testing is the methodology of Test Driven Development (TDD). The three rules of TDD and the steps in TDD are explained and the benefits and limitations of TDD are discussed.

GML Intro
GML is an XML vocabulary to express geographic properties. GML is not only a modeling language for geographic systems, but also an open standard for geographic transactions over the Internet.
GML Grammar
Like all XML vocabularies the GML grammar has two parts: an XML Schema that describes the document structure and instance documents that describe the actual data.
GML Variants
In the course different variants of GML syntax are discussed such as INSPIRE GML and AIXM5 GML.
XML Syntax
The course starts with an overview of the basic concepts of XML such as the XML document structure, the XML syntax rules and the difference between well formed and valid documents. The role of XML Namespaces is also discussed here.
XML Schema Standard
Subsequently the XML Schema standard is discussed, which defines the naming, sequence and data types of XML instance documents based on a schema. The different styles of XML Schema construction and the definition of simple and complex user defined data types are discussed.
GML Data Model

GML Coordinate System

Haskell Intro
The course starts with an introduction to the basic syntax of Haskell and the main characteristics of the language such as laziness in expression evaluation with a thunk data structure, static typing, modularity and dealing with multiple threads.
Data Types and Operators
Next attention is paid to the data types and operators of the language. Data structures such as lists, tuples and records are also discussed. And exceptions and accessing the file system are also treated.
Functions

Assertions
Ook de diverse types assertions komen aan de orde met explicit success of failure afhandeling. Bijzondere aandacht is er hierbij voor exception assertions, floating point comparisons en het gebruik van reguliere expressies.
Test Parameters
Dan wordt ingegaan op het maken van geparametriseerde tests, parameter doorgifte en type-parameterized tests. En ook test events en event listeners worden behandeld.
Test Driven Development
Eveneens onderdeel van het programma van de cursus C++ Unit Testing is de methodologie van Test Driven Development (TDD).
