Every organization is legally obliged to provide a safe working environment for employees. That also means preventing and limiting undesirable behavior. Because undesirable behavior (such as (sexual) intimidation, bullying, aggression, discrimination and unethical behavior) also leads to higher absenteeism due to illness, there is also a clear economic importance. A well-trained confidential counselor can mean a lot in this. For employees a listening ear and someone who can advise and assist, and for the organization someone who advises on how to prevent this undesirable behavior and limit the consequences as much as possible. The role of confidential counselor requires knowledge and communication skills. This training lays a foundation so that the (prospective) confidential counselor can assume this role with confidence. Accreditation guarantees quality and opens the way to certification of you as a confidential counselor.

- you can identify the various forms of undesirable behavior and integrity matters;
- you know how to support a victim of undesirable behavior and what resources are available to you to do so;
- you know how to provide employees and supervisors with information about undesirable behavior;
- you know how to provide (periodic) feedback to the organization, while maintaining confidentiality;
- you master the required, specific conversation techniques.
