Opleiding: Refresher Leader Fire Fighting & Rescue Team Offshore (NOGEPA 2.8B)
Target group:
Persons designated to lead a fire-fighting and rescue team at a mining installation.
Prerequisites:
- valid offshore medical certificate. The delegate shall be medically fit for the use of a breathing apparatus. - valid 2.8a or 2.8b certificate. **Note: Candidates with a valid 2.8a certificate, not medically fir for the use of breathing apparatus, can be enrolled into the 2.8b training.
Objective:
To train the delegate in leading a fire-fighting and rescue team in emergency situations.
Contents:
- the role of the leader of the fire-fighting and rescue team at a fire and other emergency situations which require the application of the fire fighting and Lay and maintain adequate communications lines with the team members and the head of the mining installation rescue team including helicopter fire-fighting and rescue. - divide and lay down the tasks in the fire-fighting and rescue team (teamwork elements) - assessment of the performance of the team, evaluation of the accuracy and practibability of the Fire-fighting and Rescue plan. - assessment of stress in emergency situations. - evaluations of the availability of the team after exercises and emergency situations. - evaluation of the availability of the team after exercises and emergency situations - knowledge of the requirements in relation to the maintenance of equipment and suppllies.
