Dutch for Beginners, part I
Have you just arrived in the Netherlands? And are you experiencing your first cultural encounters with the Dutch?
No doubt, your colleagues will have approached you in English thus far. And no doubt, you will have been able to get by just beautifully.
And yet….
Wouldn’t you want to understand what people around you are saying when they are speaking amongst themselves? What are they talking about? What messages do they send in their E-mails? Have you received any letters in Dutch from your local government? Or, worse perhaps, have you had to deal with a contract that was only available in Dutch?
In the course “Dutch for Beginners”, part I, you will learn some of the basics of the Dutch language. Having mastered the sounds of Dutch and studied the grammar, you will soon be able to put into practice what you have learned. In sessions of 2 or more hours, you will expand your vocabulary and before you know it, you will be able to participate in simple everyday conversations.
