Opleiding: Scrum: Scrum Master Training (English)
The Professional Scrum Master training provides all the necessary knowledge and tools to start working as a Scrum Master immediately and to prepare for the PSM-I exam.
What does the Scrum Master training entail?
Scrum is the most popular and common Agile way of working. It is based on Toyota's Lean method. The framework was created by Jeff Sutherland and Ken Schwaber for software development and has been in use since 1995. Scrum emphasizes communication with the customer, the Team Member and stakeholders. The Professional Scrum Master training is suitable for IT and non-IT product development projects within organizations. According to research company Standish Group, almost 80% of European organizations plan to adopt Agile and Scrum in the near future. This increases the demand for Scrum Masters.
Within Scrum there are only 3 roles; the Product Owner, the Scrum Master and the Team Member. As Scrum Masters, the following questions are addressed:

Training form
The Professional Scrum Master training is given in a Scrum method. In this way, you learn to put the knowledge into practice. Important Scrum elements are clarified through exercises, role plays and games. This provides more inspiration and a lasting positive experience. This makes working with Scrum pleasant.
Target audience
The Professional Scrum Master training is suitable for anyone who would like to know (more) about the role of a Scrum Master and how you can become an effective scrum master in order to grow into a stronger team leader, project manager or team member. Furthermore, this training is a good basis for students with ambition for the role of Agile or Scrum Coach. In addition, this training is good exam preparation for obtaining certificates, such as Certified Scrum Master (via Scrum Alliance) and Professional Scrum Master (PSM via Scrum.org).
Prior knowledge
College degree or higher. To get more out of your training, we strongly advise you to read the course book in advance.

Exam
At the end of this training there is an opportunity to take the online Professional Scrum Master I exam (PSM-I) at home. In general, sufficient knowledge is gained during the training to be able to pass this exam. For sitting the exam, you need an exam voucher. This voucher is not included in this course, but you can purchase this separately with us. Moreover, you can schedule the exam online and take it at a time that suits you.
