Door de industriële revolutie en Newtons fysica zijn we naar organisaties en mensen gaan kijken vanuit een mechanisch en hiërarchisch perspectief: ordelijk, duidelijk en lineair. Grote vraagstukken hebben we leren reduceren tot behapbare brokken die we wegzetten bij afdelingen of teams om opgelost te worden. We hebben geleerd te sturen op voorspelbaarheid, formats en zekerheid en we minimaliseren onevenwichtigheid en risico’s.
