Opleiding: Implementing ISO 27001
Who is this for
This training is intended for security officers or managers of companies that want to set up an information security management system based on the international standard ISO 27001, or people new to the information security officer role. In this course you will learn the principles and high level structure of ISO 27001, how to implement it in practice and how certifications and audits work.
How it is delivered
The training lasts three hours and is delivered via Google Meet, since many participants prefered a digital training. The training is provided in English, but you can ask questions in Dutch and Dutch resources and links are also provided. You will get explanation of the ISO 27001 standard, including practical examples and questions to test your own knowledge or judgement.
Certificate
If you complete the training, you will get an ICT Institute certificate. This will help you demonstrate your competency for a security officer role.
Contents
The course covers the entire contents of the latest ISO 27001 (2022) standard and the Ducth version NEN 27001:2023. If asked during the course we can explain differences with the previous versions and related standards NEN 7510 and BIO. The course covers
