The aim is of this course is to introduce participants to the core principles of microeconomics, macroeconomics, and the basics of financial systems.
Topics of microeconomics that are covered are, among others: elasticity of supply and demand, pricing strategies, core economic concepts, profitability. Topics of macroeconomics are, among others: macroeconomic measures, structure of public finances, fiscal and monetary policy, international trade, savings and consumption, rate of inflation, and interest rates. Furthermore, some topics regarding financial systems will be discussed.
