We cover writing SELECT statements to retrieve columns from one or more tables, after which you will discover how to sort and filter query results. You will not only work with simple queries, but also learn how to use joins and subqueries to combine data from multiple tables. In addition, you will be introduced to built-in functions to manipulate or calculate values, and learn how to group data and aggregate results. For example, you will be able to calculate totals and averages and directly apply them in analyses relevant to your daily work.
