Opleiding: User Acceptance Testing
Testing information systems from the user's perspective
Acceptance testing of new or user-modified software is often an activity done haphazardly. The User Acceptance Test (GAT) often loses out in priority to the fancy of the day. Nevertheless, it is an important activity because the responsibility for testing the proper operation of the software in the use case cannot be placed entirely on the supplier/IT department. For these reasons, Polteq developed the User Acceptance Testing training.
This one-day course covers the specifics of structured acceptance testing. It provides a general introduction to information systems testing from the user’s perspective. The purpose of the training is to give participants an understanding of the importance of (acceptance) testing, place testing in relation to system development of customizations and packages, and gain knowledge of the basic steps of structured acceptance testing. This includes zooming in on techniques that support acceptance testing from a business perspective, for example exploratory and checklist-based testing.
