Opleiding: Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET) with Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System (CA-EBS)
Target group:
The OPITO-approved Helicopter Underwater Escape Training incl. CA-EBS (HUET) is intended for personnel traveling to oil and gas installations by helicopter. If you want to pay a short visit (one day) to an offshore installation, this is often the minimum requirement. In this one-day training the students are prepared for traveling with a helicopter (preflight and in-flight and basic training on emergency procedures) and escaping from a helicopter that has fallen into the water. The CA-EBS training takes place in water in accordance with mutual recognition between Oil & Gas UK (OPITO) and NOGEPA.
Prerequisites:
For attending the training the delegate should be: - Possess of a valid ID (passport or drivers licence) - Possess a valid, current offshore medical certificate incl the statement Fit for CA-EBS inwater training - The delegate should have done a longfunctiontest or Spirometry test. The medical certificate should be send to our customer service prior the date of the training. In case you do not have a spirometry test, this could be done on our training center before the training. - Training activities contained within this course may include physically demanding and potentially stressful elements. All personnel who participate in such activities must be capable of participating fully.
Objective:
The objective of this course is to provide all delegates with knowledge and understanding of helicopter flight procedures with a particular focus on emergency situations.
