What does the Scrum Master Essentials Training entail?
Scrum is the most popular and common Agile way of working that is based on Toyota's Lean method. This framework was invented by Jeff Sutherland and Ken Schwaber for software development and has been used since 1995. Scrum emphasizes communication with the customer, the Team Member and stakeholders. The Scrum Master training is suitable for IT and non-IT product development and projects within organizations. According to research firm Standish Group, nearly 80% of European organizations plan to adopt Agile and Scrum in the near future. As a result, the demand for Scrum Masters is increasing.
Within Scrum there are only 3 roles; the Product Owner, the Scrum Master and the Team Member. As a Scrum Master, the following questions keep you busy:

During the Scrum Master Essentials training, the essence and principles of Agile and Scrum are treated. Subsequently, the responsibilities of the Scrum Master are discussed. It discusses how the Scrum Master can best serve his/her team, the Product Owner and the operating organization.

The Scrum Master Essentials training is given in a Scrum method. In this way, you learn to put the knowledge into practice. Important Scrum elements are clarified through exercises, role plays and games. This provides more inspiration and a lasting positive experience. This makes working with Scrum pleasant.

Exam
The most valuable Scrum Master certificate is the PSM-I certificate from Scrum.org. Since the bar for obtaining this certificate is high (a score of at least 85%) it is recommended to follow the two-day Professional Scrum Master training (with option exam) for more depth and practice with your own practical case as well as for the exams.

- In a classroom at one of our training locations with pre-planned dates
- Individual: planning and location in consultation

This training is also available in the form of an E-Learning course incl. exam in English.

Prior Knowledge
College degree or higher. To get more out of your training, we strongly advise you to read the course book in advance.
Certificate
After completion of the Scrum Master training, a Dimensions Training certificate is issued as proof of participation.
