What is 5miles?

5miles is a new online learning tool that helps you improve your data, analytical, presentation and communication skills in an innovative and inspiring way. Using a micro-learning approach, 5miles enables you to learn something new every day in just 5 minutes, and gives you the insights you need to work faster, and smarter.

How does it work?

Each day you will receive an email with a personal challenge. Do you know the answer? Want to find out what it is? We offer you a selection of different approaches, and then it’s up to you to find the right one, using tools like Excel and PowerPoint to test the various solutions. This helps you to not only discover new functionalities and faster alternatives, but also how to use and apply them to your own work.

Who is it for?

It’s for everyone who wants to improve their data and digital skills. The training automatically adapts to your skill level, whether you’re a beginner or have years of experience. With the Tracks feature, you can focus on specific areas which you want to learn more about. 5miles is available in English, Dutch, German and French.

How do I get started?

Just click the signup button on this page. You will receive your personal registration link via email. After creating your account, you can take on your first challenge right away.

In case you already have a 5miles account, then your license will be reactivated, and you will receive a confirmation via email.

What is the training period?

You get one year of full access to the 5miles online learning platform. You can train your Excel, VBA, SQL, PowerPoint, think-cell, Outlook, Power BI, Power Apps, Teams, ChatGPT  and Copilot skills. In addition, you get everlasting access to your archive with reference materials of completed challenges. In this way, you can always retrieve information later.
