About this program:
The IPMA-C training by Lagant is an intensive, practice-oriented program specifically designed for experienced project managers who want to deepen their knowledge and skills and qualify as a certified project manager at level C in accordance with the international standards of the International Project Management Association (IPMA). This training is aimed at professionals who have already been responsible for managing projects of medium to high complexity and who wish to demonstrate their expertise through an internationally recognized certification.
During the IPMA-C training, you learn how to lead projects more effectively and efficiently by developing and refining a broad range of project management skills. The training combines theoretical knowledge with practical application, ensuring that you not only understand what is required to successfully manage a project, but also how to apply that knowledge in practice. The program covers the 29 competencies from the IPMA Individual Competence Baseline (ICB), which are divided into three main domains: personal competencies, practice competencies, and contextual competencies. You will learn, among other things, how to effectively deal with complex project environments, manage risks, engage stakeholders, and inspire teams to work together toward success.
A key component of the IPMA-C training is building a portfolio in which you can demonstrate your experience and competencies. You will learn how to analyze and document your projects in a way that meets IPMA criteria. In addition, the training prepares you for the certification process, which consists of a written exam and an assessment interview. The program provides extensive guidance and support to ensure that you start this journey with confidence and thorough preparation.
What sets this training apart is its strong focus on personal development and leadership. You are challenged to critically reflect on your own performance and continuously improve yourself. This is achieved not only through theory, but also through case studies, group assignments, and simulations based on realistic scenarios. This approach ensures that you can immediately practice the skills that are essential for successfully managing complex projects.
The IPMA-C training is delivered by experienced trainers with a background in project management, who guide you using real-world examples, personal feedback, and inspiring insights. This makes the training not only educational, but also motivating and directly applicable to your own work environment. In addition, you gain access to supplementary learning resources such as e-learning modules, interactive workshops, and a network of fellow participants with whom you can exchange valuable experiences.
After completing the IPMA-C training, you will not only be well prepared for the certification process, but will also have developed the skills and knowledge needed to take your projects to the next level. Achieving the IPMA-C certificate opens the door to new career opportunities and strengthens your position as a professional project manager. Moreover, the certification demonstrates your ability to successfully manage projects of medium to high complexity, significantly enhancing your credibility and value within your organization and beyond.
