OVERVIEW
This intensive two-day hands-on training introduces IT professionals to the Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) and AWX, the open-source upstream project for Red Hat AAP. You will learn how to automate IT infrastructure tasks, manage configurations, and orchestrate workflows. The course is designed to help you work more efficiently and consistently using Ansible playbooks, the AWX web interface, and its REST API.
The course covers the core concepts of Ansible, including YAML-based playbook creation and inventory management. You will explore the differences between AWX and AAP, and learn how to work effectively with both platforms. Key topics include understanding and building execution environments, as well as applying configuration-as-code principles to set up and manage AWX/AAP in a repeatable and controlled way.
