Presenting yourself in front of or in a group is a great way to increase your professional visibility. But a woman who profiles herself must balance on a tightrope. If she acts too dominant, she is rejected because she is not nice enough. If she behaves too nicely she is not taken seriously.

It cost Hillary Clinton's spin doctors many sleepless nights. If she acted too firmly voters found her unattractive, but if she acted too feminine it was at the expense of her authority. Unfortunately, this dilemma is not limited to presidential candidates. Everywhere women work, these dilemma's appear.

For example, you may be an absolute expert in your field, yet be told that you need to put yourself out there more because you are "too invisible. Or you might be a nice and modest person, but perceived as arrogant or aloof. If you come across as insufficiently warm and competent, the unpleasant consequence will be that you evoke resistance or are not taken seriously.

Because your appearance is so decisive for your effectiveness, it is important that you manage it well. During this training Speak up dear, you will discover how to manage your perception. You will receive an analysis of your presence and we will analyze what works well and what does not. Together we determine what your objective is. How do you want to come across? Which aspects of your professionalism remain underexposed and which do you absolutely not want to lose?

Then we show you what behaviour will optimize your presence. This allows you to make adjustments in your self-presentation without losing authenticity. The result is that you create more influence and support.

This two-day training Personal Presentation for women shows you how to deal with dilemmas. It gives female professionals the means to profile themselves and be accepted.

What are we going to do?

Day 1.

• Prior to the training you will collect feedback from your colleagues through our test. This gives you an impression of how others see you.

• On the basis of video images you will discover what determines presence. Why did Donald Trump convince in his presentation and Hillary Clinton did not?

• You learn to distinguish why women (unconsciously) often stop themselves from profiling and being visible in the organization.

• You will learn to read your own and others' behavior by zooming in on "The Big Two," namely competence and warmth.

• A baseline measurement of your personal presence is made. This will bring both your pitfalls and opportunities as a professional into sharp focus.

• Self-promotion and profiling is generally an issue with women. In this training you will gain insight into how self-promotion works and what its importance is. You practice presenting your achievements and get feedback on them.

• You will learn how to invest not only in 'competence' but also in 'warmth' in order to maintain optimal support in your environment.

• Using our Focus methodology, each participant is given his or her own unique tool for managing charisma. This strengthens qualities and eliminates weaknesses without losing authenticity.

Day 2.

• Between the two training days there is a period of 2 weeks. During this time you immediately put what you have learned into practice and see the difference your new behavior makes.

• During the second day we let you practice difficult situations with an actor. You try out new strategies in complete freedom until you feel comfortable and confident to handle difficult situations.

• You make a focused plan of action so that your learning efficiency remains high after the training.

• Because the goal of this training is to increase the level of knowledge and skills, we work in a small group with a maximum of 6 people. This ensures that each participant takes steps individually.
