This course is for Azure Administrators who implement, manage and monitor identity, governance, storage, compute and virtual networks in a cloud environment.

• Manage Azure identities and governance
• Implement and manage storage

• Monitor and maintain Azure resources

The prerequisites of this course are:

• Understanding of on-premises virtualization technologies, including: VMs, virtual networking,and virtual hard disks.
• Understanding of network configurations, including TCP/IP, Domain Name System (DNS), virtual private networks (VPNs), firewalls, and encryption technologies.
• Understanding of Active Directory concepts, including users, groups, and role-based access control.
• Understanding of resilience and disaster recovery, including backup and restore operations.

Implement and manage storage (15–20%)

• Configure access to storage
• Configure and manage storage accounts
• Configure Azure Files and Azure Blob Storage

Deploy and manage Azure compute resources (20–25%)

• Automate deployment of resources by using Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates or Bicep files
• Create and configure virtual machines
• Provision and manage containers in the Azure portal
• Create and configure Azure App Service

Implement and manage virtual networking (15–20%)

• Configure and manage virtual networks inAzure
• Configure secure access to virtual networks
• Configure name resolution and load balancing

 Monitor and maintain Azure resources (10–15%)

• Monitor resources in Azure
• Implement backup and recovery
