Opleiding: Diversity & Inclusion training (brain and behavior)
Research continues to reaffirm the strong business case for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in corporate leadership and organizations. It demonstrably leads to a better working environment, from employee commitment and staff retention to deeper trust and untapped talent, all driven by a wider variety of different perspectives, knowledge, and skills.
Who is this for?
Diversity & Inclusion teams, People & Organization or Culture teams, HR professionals, change management teams, Learning & Development teams, and most managers but this is highly relevant information for any professional who works with people on a daily basis and is (partly) responsible for driving behavioral or organizational change.
You can choose between two options
- Tailored Training: a 2-hour training focused on your chosen business case
- Training + 3 Custom Workshops: a 1.5-hour tailored training and 2.5 hours where attendees can directly apply the insights & interventions in custom workshops
Tailored Training
In this 2-hour tailored training, your team or department will learn how to translate Diversity & Inclusion findings and initiatives into actual behavioral and organizational change. Unconscious bias training is useful for spreading awareness but science seems to demonstrate that process interventions are significantly more effective in driving change.
In this training, we will dive into the behavioral psychology and neuroscience behind Diversity & Inclusion and show you evidence-based insights and interventions to create the culture and context in which your people thrive in a diverse workforce and inclusive environment by combining scientific rigor with industry agility.
Training + 3 Custom workshops
In the 1.5-hour training, all attendees will learn about the fundamental principles, behavioral tendencies, and insights and interventions that are most relevant for your three chosen business cases. After this session, you will have all the tools to get started.
The three custom workshops over 2.5 hours are a hands-on opportunity for attendees to apply the insights they just learned to your three chosen business cases while our facilitators ensure guidance and support. This has proven to be the most effective way of Diversity & Inclusion training but it requires a bit more preparation. Examples of business cases are:
- Improving inflow and mobility of minority groups
- Practising habits inclusive leadership
- Debiasing recruitment or performance evaluation
