During the three-day Certified Data Center Specialist (CDCS®) course at Vijfhart, you will deepen your technical understanding of modern data centers. You’ll learn how to evaluate, optimize, and prepare a data center for future growth. This course is developed in collaboration with EPI, the global standard for data center services. By the end of the course, you will understand the complex relationships between infrastructure, safety, and reliability-and know how to apply this knowledge to ensure business continuity.
You will explore topics such as power supply, cooling, cabling, and (fire) safety in greater depth. In addition, you’ll learn about the data center design life cycle and how to assess and improve each phase effectively. You will gain insight into Tier levels for both design and maintenance, learn how to discuss detailed requirements with suppliers and vendors, read a Single Line Electrical Diagram, and ensure compliance with electromagnetic field standards and interference prevention.
You will be taught by experienced instructors from the field who work daily with data center design and infrastructure.
