This training program provides foundational knowledge for deploying and managing Proxmox VE servers in standalone or clustered environments.
In this training:
- Understand Proxmox VE architecture and single-server deployment considerations
- Identify hardware and network connectivity requirements
- Differentiate between ZFS, LVM, NFS, and SMB/CIFS storage types for standalone deployments
- Configure Linux bridging and interface bonding
- Utilize integrated firewall functionality
- Understand Proxmox VE Software-Defined Network (SDN) capabilities
- Create and administer virtual machines (VMs)
- Deploy and manage Linux containers (LXC)
- Perform cloning operations and use Cloud-init images
- Execute V2V and P2V migrations from hypervisors and physical systems

Backgroud
Participants should have a basic understanding of Linux system administration, networking concepts (IP addressing, switching, VLANs), and general virtualization principles.
