Opleiding: Writing clean and testable code

This training is focused on writing better code. The training is aimed at junior to medior software developers, and for everyone who regularly writes code (test automation engineers, for example). This is a two day training. In the first day, the focus will be on the following subjects:

• Object Oriented Programming
• Clean code
• Unit testing
• Solid principles
• Patterns (if time allows, depending on the group)

The second day, the participants will work on a case study to build a REST API from scratch in Java with the Spring framework. The participants will get a certain degree of freedom to focus on aspects they want to improve in afterwards. This can be unit testing, integration testing, general software development or making CI pipelines. Basic knowledge of programming is required and basic knowledge of object oriented programming is helpful.
