Opleiding: Training Effective Leadership in one day (English) - Virtual Classroom

Leadership: what does it really involve and what skills do you need to do it well? Sometimes, before stepping into a leadership role, you want a clearer picture of what to expect. This one-day training gives an insight into the “craft of leadership” and what it requires in terms of attitude and competencies. You’ll explore common leadership dilemmas in a practical way, helping you assess whether leadership suits you. You’ll also become aware of your strengths and pitfalls, so you can develop yourself with focus and intention.

Before the training day, you’ll complete a leadership style questionnaire and get introduced to the leadership model. The training follows the BVO Leadership Model, based on Quinn’s Competing Values Framework. You’ll explore four key leadership roles: the Leader, the Entrepreneur, the Manager, and the Coach. Through short, practical exercises, you’ll experience what it’s like to take on each role in a carousel format.

By reflecting on the question “What’s my best way?”, you’ll gain clarity on how you relate to leadership. At the end of the day, you’ll create an action plan outlining the next steps you’ll take in your leadership journey.
