In deze CompTIA A+ leer je de vaardigheden die elke IT-supportprofessional nodig heeft: werken met hardware en netwerken, het beheren van besturingssystemen en het toepassen van beveiligingsmaatregelen. Daarmee bouw je een stevige basis voor functies zoals help-deskmedewerker of IT-supportspecialist. De cursus bereid je bovendien voor op de officiële examens 220-1201 (Core 1) en 220-1202 (Core 2).

Het eerste deel (220-1201) behandelt onderwerpen zoals mobiele apparaten (installatie en synchronisatie), netwerken met TCP/IP, Wi-Fi en SOHO-configuraties, hardwarecomponenten zoals RAM, CPU, opslag en kabels, evenals virtualisatie en cloud. Ook troubleshooting van hardware- en netwerkproblemen komt uitgebreid aan bod.

Het tweede deel (220-1202) richt zich op besturingssystemen, waaronder Windows, macOS en Linux, en behandelt daarnaast beveiliging, software-troubleshooting en operationele procedures zoals change management, documentatie en back-up.
