Opleiding: AEGON Basic Communication Academy 2023

At AEGON you are responsible for your own development. With this program we will help you develop your basic communication skills.

In the 'Acationable communication' module, you will learn to structure your message and include a clear call-to-actioin, practice with written and verbal communication and with conveying only key messages needed for impact.

In the 'Impactful influencing' module, you will learn to recognize attitude and stance of a conversation counterpart. After the module you will understand the effect your stance has on the stance of a counterpart. Next to this you will practice to actively switch between influencing approaches.

In the 'Structured storytelling' module you will learn how to substantiate your key message with clear logic and reasoning and you will practice to tailor a message to the audience and goal.

In between modules you will have Circles sessions. In these sessions you can address your challenges and collect peer perspectives on how to tackle them. This way you will gain new perspectives and tools on how to approach personal work challenges through (collaborative) reflection and you will adopt a growth mindset in your learning process. Together with the group you will build confidence to practice and apply your newly learned skills in daily work life.
